OPC UA Bridge, Gateway and more for every Thing
Achieve great things with the smallest version of the Industry 4.0 middleware! Any participant is equipped with an OPC UA server**, a web server with integrated HTTP(S)/REST interfaces, a state-of-the-art web socket endpoint using SignalR and much more.
All data points are normalised at the same time according to OPC UA (IEC 62541). Each write and read access to the participants is decoupled from the type of participant. Regardless of the transport protocol – whether simple or complex, open or proprietary – it is possible to communicate directly with sensors, actuators, scanners, scales, controllers, plants and much more via Industry 4.0 interfaces, either locally or remotely configurable in the browser. Can be used anywhere, regardless of the platform: Directly on the machine or as a container in Docker & Co.
The best:
The age of the participants does not matter. Old S5/S7 controllers, grey PLCs from Allen-Bradley / Rockwell, AEG, Beckhoff, Bosch, Mitsubishi, Omron, Wago and Co. get their Industry 4.0 upgrade. Ancient Greek is no problem for Codabix, so the middleware also speaks ISO-H1, RFC 1006 (ISO-on-TCP), serial and RAW socket protocols. Even OPC Classic servers, consisting of OPC DA, OPC HDA and OPC AE, are easily connected and translated to OPC UA.
The necessary translators are already included in the gateway ex works!
Once defined, data points can be consumed, operated and reordered completely independently of the data source. The free modelling thus generates completely new views of the existing database. This view of the process data can also be historically archived and at the same time graphically visualised in the browser. Regardless of the end device, the data is available as desired.
Not only for classic PLCs and old standard protocols. EUROMAP 63 also makes older injection moulding machines from Arburg, Sumitomo Demag, Krauss-Maffei, Engel and Co. fit for the next generation. Machines with numerical control units such as the SINUMERIK Powerline series, as well as the SINUMERIKs of the Solutionline series, are easily connected and addressable via OPC UA and Co.
Any (un)known data range is simply imported into the middleware and made available from the archived Step7 projects, the EUROMAP 63 SET or from the NSK and DEF files of the DDE servers (from back then). Errors in the firmware states of individual controllers are skilfully circumvented and special communication patterns are automatically handled to ensure stable and consistent communication.
Codabix in the Industrial IoT version acts as an Industry 4.0 gateway and enables the connection of up to five identical and different components, devices and plants via the supported protocols. Via the integrated OPC UA server, up to five OPC UA clients and an unlimited number of clients can simultaneously access the connected participants via HTTP(S) via REST API, REST JSON API and SignalR API.
Not enough yet? The Industrial Edge version can do even more!
If a multiple of the supported number of participants is required, additional "cluster" licences can be purchased to upgrade the standard licence. The range of functions is multiplied according to the number of "cluster" licences. In this way, the gradual expansion of the gateway is possible without further installations/instances.
Each purchased licence includes Traeger's top level support by our developers, as well as updates including new functions - during the purchased support period. Requests are prioritised and follow-up offers for the expansion of the middleware, any integration services or the training of developers and users including certification can be taken up.
Once purchased, a licence is valid indefinitely (= unlimited licence lifetime) and allows use without further licence costs (= royalty-free). Shortly before the support expires, it is possible to extend it for at least another 12 months for 15% of the current list price. Updates and new functions can only be obtained with valid support. Support requests can still be submitted, but will be processed on a priority basis depending on their scope. Up to one month before the expiry of active support, we will notify you of the possibility of support renewal. After expiry, a new licence must be purchased for the support renewal. This type of licence can not be used in container environments (such as Docker).
Once purchased, a licence is valid for an unlimited period (= unlimited annual licence) and allows use without further licence costs for one year (= annually royalty-free). Shortly before the expiry of the annual subscription (up to one month before), we will notify you about the possibility of extending the subscription. The renewal includes a further 12 months of top level support from our developers as well as updates including new functions. Only with a valid subscription can the application continue to be used and updates and new functions be obtained. Support requests can still be submitted, but will be processed on a priority basis depending on the scope. This type of licence can also be used in container environments (such as Docker).
